LEXINGTON, SC – One person was killed and at least three were injured in a four-vehicle collision at the State Farmers Market Wednesday afternoon, WACH reports.
The chain-reaction crash began at about 1:45 p.m. on December 23, when a 2019 Dodge Charger traveling south on Highway 321 rear-ended a 1999 Honda van. The collision caused the Charger to enter the northbound lanes, where it collided head-on with a 2019 Honda CRV. The CRV was launched into the air and landed on a northbound Chevrolet Suburban.
The CRV’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Dodge’s driver was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The other two drivers received less severe injuries.
Investigations were ongoing as of Thursday afternoon.
