CONWAY, SC – One person was injured when a dump truck rolled over on Pee Dee Highway on Tuesday afternoon.

A 1-vehicle rollover accident (1:14 p.m. dispatch) w/ entrapment, involving a dump truck, will have traffic blocked.

Horry County Fire Rescue tweeted the crash occurred near West Johnston Road around 1:14 p.m. They tweeted one person was entrapped in the dump truck and was transported to a local hospital for injuries.
Traffic was blocked in both lanes of Pee Dee Highway while local authorities cleaned up and investigated the crash. It was later tweeted traffic was cleared by 4:35 p.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
