FLORENCE COUNTY, SC – A man from Pamplico was killed when his vehicle collided with a tree in Florence County on January 8, 2021, according to WMBF News.
The collision happened near Lewis and River Roads at 12:50 p.m., as 48-year-old Ronald Woodberry was reportedly driving his 2009 Buick at a high rate of speed. He went off the right side of the road, then overcorrected the vehicle. The Buick then collided with a tree and came to rest.
Woodberry, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time, died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the collision.
