LEXINGTON, SC – One person was killed after their vehicle struck a utility pole and overturned on Hermitage Road on the night of January 20, 2021.
The fatal crash occurred around 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to ABC Columbia. A 2002 Toyota four-door was traveling on Hermitage Road when the driver lost control. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, hit a utility pole, and overturned.
Police report that the driver was killed in the crash. He had been wearing a seatbelt at the time.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
