MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Police released the identities of the four people killed in the Saturday, January 23, 2021 crash on Harrelson Boulevard.

According to WMFB, four people were killed and multiple injured after a crashed into a retention pond on Harrelson Boulevard just west of Highway 15 around 1:30 a.m.
Responding authorities found the vehicle partially submerged in the pond. Several people were found near the vehicle with various injuries. Four people did not survive their injuries.
Police identified those killed as two Lake City residents and two Winston-Salem, NC residents. The Lake City fatalities were 20-year-old Shiquan Graham and 23-year-old Thomas McDowell and the Winston-Salem fatalities were 22-year-old Niterria Johnson and a 17-year-old female.
It is unknown how many others sustained injuries or their current condition.
Myrtle Beach Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
