ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Old Elloree Road early Friday morning.
According to WCSC, a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling north on Old Elloree Road near Herman Road around 3:10 a.m. on February 5, 2021. The Mitsubishi traveled off the right side of the road, hit a culvert and utility pole, went airborne, and overturned.
Police report the driver was ejected from the car and killed in the crash. They report he was not wearing a seat belt.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
