WHEELAND, SC (NEWBERRY COUNTY) – A man was killed after his vehicle crashed into a ditch and overturned in Newberry County late Friday night, according to FOX Carolina.
The crash happened on Seibert Road, near Leisure Point Road, at about 11 p.m. on February 12, when the driver of a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, lost control of the vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway. The Silverado crashed into a ditch, then rolled over.
The victim was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
