DARLINGTON CO., SC – 59-year-old Debra McFatter has died after an accident in which two vehicles ran off the road Thursday morning.
WBTW reports that the two-vehicle accident took place near mile-marker 133 on I20 around 1:06 AM on February 25th. The two vehicles, a car and a Jeep, had both been traveling eastbound when the Jeep crashed into the car from behind. The collision caused the car to swerve and both vehicles subsequently ran off the right side of the highway.
McFatter suffered severe injuries as a result of her car striking a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
There is currently no information on the identity or condition of the driver of the Jeep.
