COWPENS, SC (SPARTANBURG COUNTY) – A collision in the Cowpens area led to heavy traffic delays yesterday evening, according to WSPA.
The crash occurred near mile marker 85 on I-85 S at about 7 p.m. on February 27.
The accident led to the closure of all but one lane of southbound traffic from Exit 82 to Exit 90.
Travelers were advised to expect delays as authorities worked the crash.
It is unclear at this point what caused the accident or if anyone was injured as a result.
