VAUCLUSE, SC – One person has died after a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 20 early Sunday morning, reports WRDW.
The accident occurred at 4:16 AM on March 7th. Both vehicles were traveling west on I-20 near mile marker 13. A 1996 Mazda 626 had slowed down when a box truck crashed into the vehicle from behind and drove over the top of it. The Mazda was subsequently sent spinning into the roadway and the driver was ejected.
The coroner has identified the driver of the Mazda as 51-year-old Beverly Ann Lloyd.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
