CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Fire Department continues to investigate a mobile home fire that injured one person in West Ashley Monday afternoon, reports Count On News 2.
The fire was reported at a mobile home on Trailmore Drive just before noon on March 8th. The two occupants of the mobile home had already escaped the structure by the time emergency responders arrived. One person had been injured and was immediately transported to the hospital, but the second occupant refused any medical treatment.
The Charleston Fire Department was able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to any other homes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
