HORRY CO., SC – Horry County Fire Rescue was called to a structure fire early Friday morning, reports WFXB.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the fire broke out around 2:30 AM on March 12th at the Reserve at Ridgewood apartment complex at the 4000 block of Signature Drive. Emergency responders evacuated more than 24 people before they were able to extinguish the fire.
None of the occupants sustained any severe injuries, but several units are heavily damaged. Multiple families are left without a place to stay.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
