WILLIAMSBURG CO., SC – One person has died after losing control of their vehicle early Monday morning, reports WCSC.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Diamond Loop Road around 3:00 AM on March 15th. The driver of a 2002 Honda SUV had been traveling north when they lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway, and overturned.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and died from their injuries. They had not been wearing a seatbelt. The Williamsburg County Coroner’s Office has yet to identify the deceased.
