CHARLESTON, SC – Three people were injured in a four-vehicle crash in the Summer Wood subdivision Sunday afternoon, reports The Charleston Press.
According to The Charleston Press, the accident took place in front of Terminix at 10503, Highway 78 on March 21st. The accident was reportedly caused by one vehicle that crossed over the centerline to try and overtake the vehicle in front of it. The exact circumstances of the crash have yet to be released, but four vehicles were involved. At least one person was trapped in their vehicle following the crash.
Three people were transported to the hospital from the scene with non-life threatening injuries. There is currently no information regarding the identity or condition of anyone involved in the crash.
Highway 78 was closed until 5:00 PM Sunday.
