GEORGETOWN, SC – A motorist has been taken to the hospital after a train clipped the back end of their car Tuesday, reports WBTW.
Georgetown County Emergency Management states that the collision took place on Highmarket Street near Hilliard Street in the afternoon of March 23rd. A train collided with the back half of a car.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital. Neither their identity nor their condition have been released.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
