LEXINGTON, SC – Authorities in Lexington reported a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 1 yesterday afternoon, according to the Lexington Police Department.
TRAFFIC UPDATE – A collision on Augusta Road/US-1 at Cedar Road has been removed from the roadway and all lanes have reopened.

The crash occurred on Augusta Road/US-1, near Cedar Road, before 1 p.m. March 27, when a driver reportedly failed to yield the right of way while making a turn. Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area and be clear of first responders working at the scene.
The crash closed multiple lanes of the highway, which were reopened by 1:26 p.m.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.
