RICHLAND CO., SC – One person has died after their vehicle collided with a tree Saturday night, reports ABC Columbia.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the one-vehicle accident took place near the intersection of Congaree Road and James Crossing Road at around 10:45 PM on March 27th. A 2005 Honda Accord exited the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver had been wearing a seatbelt but was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The coroner’s office has yet to identify the victim.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
