NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – Two people were taken to the hospital after their mobile home caught fire early Tuesday morning, reports WCSC.
According to the North Charleston Fire Department, the fire was reported at 4:25 AM on April 13th at a mobile home located on Brossy Circle just off of Dorchester Road. One resident had already escaped by the time first responders arrived, but another was stuck inside. The North Charleston Fire Department was luckily able to find and rescue the second resident.
Both residents suffered injuries as a result of the fire and were taken to the hospital. Neither of their conditions are known at this time.
The fire was reportedly caused by an overloaded electrical circuit, but remains under investigation.
