MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – The Mount Pleasant Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a heavy apartment complex fire Tuesday evening, reports WCSC.
According to officials, the fire was first reported at 7:45 on April 13th at an apartment building on Sea Gull Drive. Upon arrival fire fighters entered the building to search for any remaining residents and safely recovered a cat and a dog.
Reports of any injuries sustained in the fire are still pending.
The fire remains under investigation.
