JAMESTOWN, SC (BERKELEY COUNTY) – A driver is dead after crashing into a tree on Highway 45 south of Jamestown in Berkeley County this morning, according to WCBD.
The crash happened on southbound Highway 45, near Turkey Pond Road, at about 9:30 a.m. on April 24, when the driver of a 2011 Buick sedan went off the side of the roadway. The car then slammed into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other people were reported as injured.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
