ANDERSON, SC – An elderly man has succumbed to injuries he sustained during a crash on Wednesday morning in Anderson, according to WYFF4.
The crash occurred on Bleckley Street at about 9 a.m. April 21, when 71-year-old John Sopack was struck by another vehicle as he was headed eastbound. His vehicle rolled over, leaving Sopack with cervical spine injuries.
At about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22, he succumbed to his wounds.
The condition of the second driver was not immediately released.
Sopack had moved to the Anderson area from Colorado in February.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
