SUMTER CO., SC – 24-year-old Lynwood Cox has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle car accident that took place early Saturday morning, reports WIS.
According to the Sumter County Coroner’s Office, the accident took place on Packs Landing Road just before 3:00 AM on April 24th.
Cox had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and died at the scene. An autopsy will be performed on Monday the 26th.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
