DORCHESTER, SC – Two people have died and one person has been hospitalized after a pickup truck collided with a freightliner truck Tuesday evening, reports WCBD.
The accident reportedly took place on East Main Street near Schoolhouse Road at 7:48 PM on May 4th. The driver of a 2005 Chevy Tahoe lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the median into the oncoming westbound lanes. A freightliner truck then collided with the passenger side of the Chevy.
The driver and passenger of the Chevy were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither has been identified by the coroner’s office.
The driver of the freightliner truck was injured and taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.
