HORRY CO., SC – One person has died and three others remain in the hospital after a two-vehicle collision Monday night, reports ABC 15.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Barnhill Road around 9:30 PM on May 10th. A northbound vehicle attempted to illegally pass another car and struck a different car also traveling northbound.
The driver of the car that was struck sadly died at the scene. The coroner’s office has not identified the deceased.
The driver and two passengers of the car that had attempted the illegal pass were critically injured. One person was airlifted to the hospital, and the other two were taken by ambulance. Their conditions are unknown.
