GREENVILLE CO., SC – One person has died and two others have been critically injured after a head-on collision in the early hours of Thursday morning, reports WYFF.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident took place on Highway 11 near Danna View Court around 3:45 AM on May 13th. The driver of a Ford was traveling south when they veered into the northbound lane and struck a Mazda head-on. The Mazda subsequently crashed into a guardrail and exited the roadway into an embankment.
The driver of the Mazda, 58-year-old Dana Todd, unfortunately died at the scene.
Both the passenger of the Mazda and the driver of the Ford were transported to the hospital.
