BEAUFORT CO., SC – The deceased driver of the Chevy truck involved in the Hilton Head Bridge crash previously reported on by Evans Moore, LLC was drunk at the time of the accident, according to FITS News.
The driver of the Chevy, 23-year-old Tyler C. Carroll was reportedly intoxicated and had been traveling east in a westbound lane when he collided head-on with a 2018 Ford Fusion. Carroll’s Chevy fell off the bridge into the water below, where his body was later discovered.
Two occupants of the Ford, 27-year-old Johnathan Greene and 21-year-old Jordan Johnson, were also found dead at the scene. Three other passengers in the Ford were seriously injured.
