GREENVILLE, SC – A woman was killed in a head-on, multi-vehicle collision on I-385 early yesterday morning, according to WYFF4 News.
The collision occurred on I-385 S, near the exit for Pleasantburg Drive, at about 4:30 a.m. on May 14, when three vehicles collided. One of those vehicles was traveling the wrong way, headed northbound in the southbound lanes. A white pickup truck overturned during the crash.
48-year-old Greenville resident Thelma Marie Leake was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities blocked the roadway for multiple hours following the crash. By about 2 p.m., the roadway was cleared again.
