BERKELEY CO., SC – One person is dead and two others have been hospitalized after a head-on collision between two vehicles Wednesday afternoon, according to WCSC.
South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that the two-vehicle crash took place on Highway 17A in the area of South Live Oak Drive on May 19th. The driver of a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer was traveling north when their vehicle crossed over the center line and collided head-on with a 1995 Ford pickup truck.
The driver of the Chevy unfortunately died at the scene. The coroner’s office has not yet identified the deceased.
The driver and passenger of the Ford were both injured and taken to the hospital.
