DILLON COUNTY, SC – One person was killed after their Jeep crashed into a tree in Dillon County early this morning, according to WMBF News.
The crash happened on State Park Road at about 1 a.m. on May 23, when the driver of a 2017 Jeep Cherokee went off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected the vehicle, sending it off the left side of the roadway and into a tree.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died in the crash.
No other people were injured in the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
