NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The driver of a Bud Light truck was critically injured Tuesday after they swerved off the roadway to avoid hitting another vehicle, according to WBTW.
A city spokesperson reports that the crash took place on Highway 31 near Robert Edge Parkway on May 25th. The Bud Light truck swerved and exited the roadway into the woods to avoid hitting another truck with a flat tire.
Both drivers were taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. The driver of the Bud Light truck was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the other truck was taken as a precaution.
Part of the guardrail along the highway was knocked out by the Bud Light truck in the crash and cones have been set up in its place.
