SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC – A 15-year-old pedestrian standing near a disabled SUV was fatally struck by a driver in Spartanburg County early this morning, according to WYFF4.
The crash occurred on Old Hills Bridge Road, near Cross Anchor Road, at about 12:30 a.m. on June 6, as a 15-year-old from Enoree and three other people were standing near a Nissan Pathfinder SUV that had become disabled.
The teen was then struck by the driver of a Dodge RAM pickup truck, which also collided with the disabled vehicle.
The teenager, who is not being identified here due to their age, died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
