MARLBORO CO., SC – One person has died after a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon, reports WMBF.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Delta Height Road around 4:00 PM on June 9th. The victim has been driving a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle westbound when they lost control of the vehicle and exited the roadway. They subsequently crashed into a guardrail and overturned.
The motorcyclist, who was reportedly not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. They unfortunately died at the scene. The coroner’s office has not yet identified the deceased.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
