EDGEFIELD, SC – A woman was hospitalized last week Tuesday after a building collapsed on her while she was inside her car, according to ABC 4.
The building reportedly began to collapse on June 8th after the woman shut her car door while parked outside. First responders reported that the vehicle was covered in bricks and they had to free the woman quickly before more of the building collapsed.
The woman, who has not been identified, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The location of the building has not been released. The property owner had the building demolished following the accident.
