KERSHAW CO., SC – One person has died as a result of a single-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon, reports WLTX.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Buffalo Creek Road around 5:00 PM on June 29th. A 2000 Nissan Xterra swerved to the left before overcorrecting and running off the right side of the road into a ditch where the vehicle overturned.
The driver had not been wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. They sadly died at the scene. The coroner’s office has yet to identify the victim.
The front seat passenger suffered no injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
