DILLON CO., SC – One person has been killed and three others have been injured after a two-vehicle collision near Dillon Sunday afternoon, reports WBTW.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place at the intersection of SC 34 and Harllees Bridge Road on July 4th. An eastbound Nissan collided with a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas after the Volkswagen failed to stop at the stop sign on Harllees Bridge Road.
An occupant of the Volkswagen who had not been wearing a seatbelt was ejected from the vehicle and unfortunately died at the scene. The coroner’s office has yet to identify the deceased.
The driver of the Nissan as well as two other passengers suffered injuries and were taken to McLeod Health for treatment.
