MANNING, SC (CLARENDON COUNTY) – One person was killed when a car collided with a tree on Highway 260 in Clarendon County on Friday evening, according to WIS TV.
The crash happened about two miles south of Manning on SC-260 near Sweet Pea Lane at 5:30 p.m. on July 16, when the driver of a 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck went off the right side of the highway. The vehicle then collided with a tree.
The driver was taken to the hospital, and they were then pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
