CONWAY, SC – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Highway 501 in Horry County late last night, according to WPDE News.
The collision happened on Hwy 501, near Burning Ridge Road, at about 10:50 p.m. on July 23, as a pedestrian was walking across the street. The victim was then struck by the driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe.
The victim was pronounced dead after the collision.
The driver and their passenger were uninjured.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
