PICKENS COUNTY, SC – The victim of a head-on collision that happened on Six Mile Highway was identified by the coroner on Sunday, July 25.
According to WSPA News, the victim was identified as 71-year-old Deborah Williams of Union.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. Saturday night near Red Fox Rd. The driver of a 2020 Ford F-150 was heading north on Six Mile Highway when they crossed the centerline and struck Williams’ car head-on.
Williams was trapped in her car and died of her injuries.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck sustained injuries in the accident.
