RICHLAND CO., SC – One person has died and another has been badly injured after two vehicles collided on U.S. 601 Sunday morning, reports WIS 10.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place on U.S. 601 near Two Rivers Road around 4:00 AM on July 4th. A 2005 Ford Expedition was traveling north when it veered into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 1998 Ford Sedan.
The driver of the Ford Sedan, 29-year-old Princess Weller, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Expedition suffered serious injuries and remains in the hospital. Their identity and condition is unknown.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
