George “Buster” Bryan
A South Carolina native. He grew up on the sea islands in the Lowcountry and relocated to Horry County, where his family has called home for several generations. Buster spent several years as a boat captain and traveled overseas before attending college. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University summa cum laude and the University of South Carolina School of Law magna cum laude.
In law school, Buster got inducted into the Order of the Coif, the Order of Wig and Robe, was a member of the Moot Court Bar, served on the law school’s Pro Bono Board, worked as a legal writing tutor, and received several Cali Awards. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Gregory P. McGuire at the North Carolina Business Court in Raleigh.
After his clerkship, Buster returned to Myrtle Beach. Since then, he has gained valuable experience at large and small law firms. He has experience handling a range of legal issues, including personal injury cases, business litigation, real estate disputes, and transactional real estate matters. Additionally, Buster spent a year and a half serving in the in-house legal department as a contract negotiator for a large, multinational technology company.
Buster is a creative problem solver, negotiator, and legal advocate. Buster primarily represents injured victims harmed due to medical malpractice, vehicle collisions, civil rights violations, and nursing home negligence. Buster enjoys engaging with individuals, learning their stories, and achieving the most equitable outcome.
Outside of the office, Buster is an avid fisherman, hunter, and surfer.
